Description
- Ensure Departmental activities are undertaken according to priorities, schedules, and procedures.
- Provide insight into the business performance using the KPI's as a base, provide the relevant reporting and analysis.
- Delve into the profitability and efficiencies within the company and our different business streams, analysis of costs and maintain systems of cost allocations between Solutions & Resources activities.
- Create detailed business analyses, outlining issues, opportunities, and possible solutions for our business.
- Work closely with the Business Systems and Process Manager to develop the tools to report KPI's, profitability and business streams.
- Assist with cost management efforts within budget/forecast.
- Help develop processes to improve business efficiencies using current and new systems.
- Assist the Finance Accountant with month end processes and tasks.
- Report month end actuals/forecast/budget into group reporting system.
- Review the management accounts and supporting analysis with the Finance Manager to support the achievement of business objectives and performance targets.
- Assist the Finance Manager with preparing reports for the management meeting in preparation for attendance and reporting on the financial and cost performance in the month.
- Be involved with the preparation of clear, accurate, well supported, and timely forecasts in line with the annual schedule.
- Review cash, revenue and costs forecast with Finance Manager.
- Assist with the preparation of supporting analysis/variance explanations for submission to Group.
- Aid with preparing presentations for management team on month end and quarterly performance.
- Assist with the annual external audit and internal financial control audits.
- Assist with providing Tax information.
- Cash flow forecasting in line with group reporting requirements.
- Assist the Finance Manager with Budget Preparations
Profile
- Finance, Business or Economics related degree required.
- Excellent English language speaking and writing skills.
- Adaptable and flexible approach.
- Ability to meet deadlines, whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good numerical and logical analysis skills.
- Proven ability to work with people at all levels of the organisation.
- Keen to continue to improve understanding and knowledge of plant operations/Group strategies to contribute towards the organisation.
- Advanced knowledge of excel and PowerPoint.
- Hardworking attitude and reliable.
- Experience on SAGE (not essential)
- Knowledge of key accounting concepts and standards
