SalaryPower BI Developer - £75,000 - Remote
Nigel Frank have partnered up with a leading Microsoft Gold Partner that has a presence across the world with over 40 office and 30,000+ employees to find an experienced Senior / Lead Power BI Developer to join them. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Microsoft Power BI and Fabric and will have a proven track record in administering the product as well as designing, developing and supporting interactive reports and dashboards. You will be working closely with the Data Engineers to produce reports and present business lead requirements through Power BI.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conducting security assessments to identify and address vulnerabilities
- Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify reporting requirements and turning those into a powerful story through visuals
- Training colleagues and mentoring junior members to drive self service analytic
- Working closely with the IT operations teams to ensure consistency in designing approach to support the wider Microsft 365 environment
- Finding roots for analysis and troubleshooting for end-user support requests
- Providing innovative ideas to maximise the value and adoption of Power BI and related products
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Azure Data Platform and how to securely connect databases
- Strong understanding and experience using Power Query
- Strong understanding and experience of SQL, DAX and M
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps and Release Management
- PL-300 or equivalent certification
- Good experience with gathering and documenting business requirements , KPIs and cataloguing data attributes
