Practice Accountant - Hillsborough

One of our leading firms in Hillsborough is seeking an Accountant is to build relationships with SME clients and to have direct responsibility for portfolios. The role will suit a strong accountant, ideally with a private practice background seeking to further develop their accountancy career.

The successful candidate will build relationships with clients and to have direct responsibility for a mix of portfolios. They are responsible for the delivery of an outstanding accountancy service to clients , the role requires an influential professional who can build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:

• Build strong relationships with new and established clients.
• Complete accounting, corporation tax, income tax statements for a mix of clients.
• Ensure that all financials statements are completed in a timely manner and submitted on time.
• File reviews including ensuring accounts files have all relevant documentation on the appropriate section.
• Knowledge of the charity sector desirable but not essential.
