Radiography Practice Educator

The post holder will be responsible for the planning and implementation of an effective training programme for radiography students on practical placement. The post holder will be responsible for the management and daily organisation of students and will provide expert clinical supervision and support for staff and students working within the department. The post holder will be responsible for the co-ordination of Practice Educators on other sites within SEHSCT. In addition, have a shared responsibility in the management of curriculum in conjunction with development, implementation and evaluation with the relevant University staff. This involves liaisons with the appropriate University staff to ensure that the theoretical training in the University and the practical placements in the hospital are effectively and appropriately coordinated The post holder must maintain clinical skills in general imaging and postgraduate specialism, to work on a daily basis as part of the clinical team..

Minimum of 3 years experience at Band 6 or above

1 year experience involved in providing education and training of radiography students

Diploma of the College of Radiographers or BSc in Radiography
