McKinty Associates are pleased to be working an expandingaccountancy practice based in Bangor, County Down who have a current need for anexperienced Accounts professional to join their busy team due to a continuedperiod of growth.

The ideal candidate will undertake a hands-on role preparing accountsto TB, bookkeeping, payroll services, VAT, tax returns and financial planning responsibilitiesfor a mixed client base.

Main duties will include:

·End of year accounts preparation

·Bookkeeping

·Basic personaland corporate tax

·VAT Returns

·Payroll

·Monthly Journal prep

Essential eligibility criteria:

·AAT/ATI qualification or equivalent or PartQualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc)

·Previous relevant experience in a in a smallto medium sized practice environment (Preferred)

·Be proficient with relevant accountingpackages (QuickBooks or similar accountancy package)

·Have the ability to manage a busy and variedworkload and meet deadlines

·Ability to liaise with clients across a range of sectors

·Team player

·Keen eye for detail

·Effective communicator
