We have partnered with a family-friendly training practice located in Northamptonshire who are excited to welcome a new Practice Nurse to their multi-skilled team that has a great team ethos, is a high achiever for QOF and semi-rural part dispensing practice with 6000 patients. Position Details:
- Job Title:Practice Nurse.
- Job Type: Full time or part-time flexible hours available.
- Location: Northamptonshire
- Salary: £36,000 - £48,000 per annum with an extensive benefits package including personal development opportunities (CPD leave entitlement) plus NHS pension, 5 weeks annual leave + bank holidays, on-site parking and much more.
- Team: Supported by 2 Practice Nurses and 2 ANPs plus a large complement of GPs and clinical staff and hard-working admin team (25 staff in total).
About You:
- NMC Registration with experience working in primary care.
- General Practice Nurse experience in chronic disease management of Diabetes, COPD and asthma would be advantageous.
- Immunisations experience as well as wound dressings, smears, coil and implant fitting although not essential.
- Excellent communication skills, effective time management, ability to work autonomously and as a team member.
- Polite, confident, motivated, forward thinker, problem solver, high levels of integrity and loyalty, sensitive and empathetic.
Main Duties:
- Responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients, including health assessments, immunisation, cytology, wound care, and other clinical duties.
- Provide health education to patients and their families.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician's orders.
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
