Primary School Teaching Assistants have continued to be in huge demand since schools returned in September. Those joining School House Recruitment recently are already working on assignments in local schools.
As a result, we urgently require additional Primary School Teaching Assistants for some exciting full time opportunities in Sheffield and Rotherham with immediate starts.
Our ideal Primary School Teaching Assistants hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification. However, if you can demonstrate relevant Primary School classroom experience within the previous 18 months, please call us. We recognise that this is just as important. The experience can be in EYFS, Keystage 1, Keystage 2 or a combination.
Responsibilities range from 1 to 1 intervention work with specific pupils, work with small groups in booster sessions and assisting with whole of classroom activities. Confident reading, writing and numeracy skills are essential. A good understanding of the national curriculum is preferred. Being able to explain the difficult to make it easier for young learners to absorb and understand is pretty good too!
Do You:
- Have a Level 2 or Level 3 Primary School Teaching Assistant qualification
- Have previous experience in different year groups as a Teaching Assistant
- Have a good understanding of the current Primary School national curriculum
- Know how to make the complicated easier to understand
