Primary Teacher - Supply

Reed Education Southampton are currently seeking Primary Teachers to fulfil a large number of bookings and vacancies across Hampshire. These roles are temporary placements, and on a day to day or long-term basis.

At Reed Education Southampton, we run the Hampshire Supply Service through our branch, working with over 500 schools across the whole Hampshire County. We assist with the cover needs such as sickness and long-term absence cover. We do our very best to support schools with excellent candidates who are passionate and keen to work on a flexible basis, working as many days as they can around their busy home lives.

As a Supply Primary Teacher, you will gain bookings within schools local to you, where you will attend and fulfil the cover for the day, teaching the content left for you by the class teacher you are covering. You will have excellent support from us here at Reed, and support from the school itself to make you feel as comfortable as possible. There will be no work for you to take home and will only need to bring yourself and a packed lunch!

The salary for a Supply Primary Teacher on a day-to-day basis is set between £130 to £180 per day, depending on experience, and we as your agency do not receive fees from you - so the pay rate you will be on is yours to keep!

All you will need for this role is the following:
- Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent and a degree in subject specialism such as Primary
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one (this can be done through Reed)
- Good availability - whether you are available 5 days per week to work 3 days, or have 3 set days you are available
- Flexible - as a day-to-day teacher, you may have bookings in different schools
