As a Principal Consultant, Delivery Lead you will have prior experience of leading significant projects, or working in a management role in a programme, or equivalent. You will have extensive prior experience in leading delivery of significant business outcomes for senior partners. Typically you will have experience of leading teams of 25+ people, though ability to drive outcomes at an appropriate level is more important than team size. You will be able to plan, schedule and monitor work to meet business outcomes including time, cost and quality requirements.

Client Engagement
Responsible for the delivery of 6point6 services, ensuring client expectations are met
Ensure trusted partnerships are established quickly in order to always act in the best interests of our clients
Collaborate with the Sector Director and Engagement Lead to fully understand client expectations and to help shape our commitments
Ensure a smooth and consistent delivery approach throughout, in line with our Delivery principles and practices
Ensure all project / service decisions are aligned with our wider commitments to the client
Be key point of contact for any scope requests / adjustments
Be a servant leader, helping to build strong and high-performance teams
Cultivate strong relationships with key partners
Delivery
Determine and define project scope and objectives
Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements and track project costs in order to meet budget
Facilitate release and sprint planning, daily scrum, backlog grooming and retrospective ceremonies
Create data-driven dashboards to highlight team performance and proactively find opportunities for adjustment and improvement – e.g. story points delivered, estimation variance and sprint velocity
Develop and manage a detailed backlog / project schedule and work plan
Provide project updates to various stakeholders about strategy and progress
Maintain a comprehensive RAID log and provide regular reports on unblocking impediments and mitigating issues and risks
Ensure processes are in place in line with our standards
Support the continuous improvement of delivery and account management practice
Collaboration with the Delivery Practice on forecasts, client business development, RFP responses, and development of financial models to ensure engagement profitability
Assist in business development activities, proposals, bid writing and pre-sales
Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new staff
