Overview:
First Military Recruitment is working in partnership with our reputable client who is seeking a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Denham, Middlesex.
My client is looking for a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer, to lead and mentor, manage, and motivate a team or teams of Mechanical Design Engineers and draughtspeople.
The successful candidate will be working on designing ejection seats and their related components and supporting equipment, to fit various military aircraft. This will include carrying out performance and structural calculations, producing 3D models and supporting documentation as part of development and sustainment projects, as well as mentoring the team.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- A great deal of experience working in a similar role.
- A degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Know how to listen and communicate effectively with others.
- Have an understanding of Mechanical Engineering principles.
- Be a methodical problem Solver.
- Committed to the highest standards.
- A passion for innovation, experimentation and design.
