NFU Mutual’s thriving Pricing Department are pleased to share an excellent opportunity for a General Insurance Pricing professional to join them in the role of a Principal Pricing Analyst within the Commercial Pricing team.

The role of a Principal Pricing Analyst at NFU Mutual offers a unique blend of opportunity to demonstrate your existing technical skills and abilities coupled with the opportunity to receive further training and develop your career. You will act as a technical role model for our more junior Analysts whilst also regularly collaborating with senior management to help the enhancement of the team’s technical capability and the effective development and delivery of fair and accurate prices for our customers.

The role will entail taking technical ownership of our Motor Fleet portfolio from a pricing perspective, including reviewing the adequacy of our rating models and developing technical and tactical rate changes to reflect emerging trends and ensure we achieve our desired business outcomes. You will be interpreting pricing models and working closely with the rest of the Pricing Department, including teams such as Data, Modelling and Risk Pricing teams, as well as liaising with stakeholders within the wider business, including Underwriting, Distribution, Claims and Reserving.

You'll have a proven track record of analysing complex pricing data, drawing conclusions and delivering commercially sound recommendations in order to achieve fair and accurate customer prices within a general insurance environment.

You'll possess the ability to take into account all relevant internal and external factors to deliver pricing models in accordance with NFU Mutual’s policy.
