Key Responsibilities:
- Menu Planning and Preparation:
- Consult with clients to understand their dietary preferences, restrictions, and culinary desires.
- Design customised menus for a variety of occasions, including private dinners, parties, and events.
- Source high-quality ingredients and ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
- Cooking and Presentation:
- Prepare and cook meals according to the planned menu, ensuring taste, quality, and presentation are exceptional.
- Serve meals in a professional and timely manner, adapting to the setting and style preferred by the client.
- Provide a memorable dining experience, paying attention to detail in every aspect of the meal.
- Client Interaction:
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their needs and expectations are met or exceeded.
- Handle any special requests or last-minute changes with flexibility and professionalism.
- Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor, creating a comfortable atmosphere for clients.
- Kitchen Management:
- Set up and clean up the kitchen area before and after meal preparation.
- Ensure all cooking equipment and utensils are maintained and used safely.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
- Administrative Duties:
- Manage food inventory and shopping lists, keeping track of expenses and receipts.
- Coordinate with the concierge company for scheduling and client information.
- Provide feedback and suggestions to improve services and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Private Chef, restaurant chef, or in a similar culinary role.
- Formal culinary training or certification from a recognized institution.
- Extensive knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and dietary restrictions.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to different kitchen environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
