Private Client Solicitor (1+ PQE)

A well-established legal practice with a history spanning over 90 years, is looking for a Private Client Solicitor to join their growing team. They are dedicated to providing a range of personal and commercial legal services and are committed to the development of our staff, improving technology, and building a positive working culture.

Day to Day of the role:

• Preparation of Wills, including those aimed at asset protection and tax mitigation.
• Administration of Estates for business and Private Clients.
• Engage in Lifetime and Post-Death Tax Planning.
• Draft and register Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection Orders.
• Contribute to the firm’s marketing efforts, including article drafting, PR, business development, social media, and networking activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Circa 1+ years PQE in Private Client work.
• STEP or SFE qualification preferred but not essential.
• Strong understanding of Wills, estate planning, trusts, and administration of estates.
• Knowledge of Lasting Powers of Attorney and specialist advice for elderly clients.
• Excellent written communication skills using correct grammar and plain English.
• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills, IT proficiency.
• Enthusiastic, willing to learn, and a strong team player with a balance between technical ability and commercial awareness
