In the role of Private Client Tax Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering an effective, client-focused, and proactive service to meet the requirements of Private Clients.
- Collaborating with directors and managers on technical assignments.
- Overseeing the day-to-day management of client portfolios, including billing and monitoring work in progress.
- Ensuring appropriate management of the firm's risks.
- Coordinating with HMRC regarding client matters and handling inquiries from HMRC.
- Productively engaging with clients on advisory matters.
- Participating in meetings with new clients alongside the relevant partner/director and serving as a primary point of contact for ongoing client relationships.
- Preparation of personal and partnership tax returns.
- Reviewing personal and partnership tax returns prepared by junior staff or handling complex compliance cases.
