Private Equity Internship 8-12 Weeks

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience within investment banking, consulting, technology company or investing roles (Private Equity, hedge fund)
• Demonstratable interest in the technology sector (software, internet)
• High analytical capacity, attention to detail, intellectual curiosity and independent thinking
• Strong quantitative ability and excel modelling skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset, a willingness to take initiative and be a self-starter 
• Ability and confidence to speak directly with high level executives
• Proactive in nature, with the ability to meet strict deadlines and manage time efficiently 
• Must be flexible to adapt to an occasionally stressful and changing work environment, with concurrent responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Identifying and exploring new investment themes
• Tracking companies across technology sub-sectors
• Supporting deal evaluation & execution
• Advising and monitoring portfolio companies
• Evaluating public market positions (in select cases)
