The Role:
We are seeking a Private Personal Assistant to the Company Director, a role that is pivotal to both the smooth running of our business operations and the management of select private affairs.
This position demands a high level of discretion, flexibility, and initiative.
The ideal candidate will be entrusted with sensitive information about the Director, the company, its clients, and employees, requiring an unwavering commitment to confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficient management of the Director's business and selected private affairs.
- Handling sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion.
- Offering flexibility in days and hours to accommodate the Director's schedule, including occasional work from the Director's home.
- Reliability and trustworthiness to be entrusted with working from the Director's personal home, and working from your home.
- Possess experience with accountancy software such as Xero.
- Proficiency in virtual communication tools like Zoom for remote meetings.
- Able to run errands and purchase items as required to support the Director's personal and business needs.
- Independent work and proactive problem-solving.
- Tech-savviness, with a proficiency in Microsoft packages and an ability to quickly adapt to new software.
- Organising and maintaining digital and physical files.
- Creating and managing content across social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook).
- Conducting thorough research to support business initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for handling phone calls and email correspondences.
- Experience in start-up environments, preferably within the pet care industry.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Personal Assistant, ideally within a start-up or small business setting.
- Possess experience with accountancy software such as Xero.
- A background or strong interest in pet care, particularly with dogs, and also as you will be in close contact with the Director's dogs (2 Yorkshire Terriers).
- Must own an iPhone and be proficient in its use.
- Reside locally within the E4 area for ease of access to the Director's home as needed.
- Able to work from home/ remote working.
- Demonstrable experience with social media content creation and management.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently using own initiative.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
- Capable of offering flexible support hours, tailored to the Director's needs, ranging from 1-10 hours per week.
