If so, City Plumbing are currently recruiting for a Procurement Administrator (GNFR) to join the team and support the provision of a professional, effective and knowledgeable service for the procurement and supply of IT hardware, software and consumables.
The Role:The Procurement Administrator will support the IT Support Manager (Procurement) in the provision of a professional and knowledgeable service for the procurement and supply of IT hardware, software and consumables for the Company.

Key Responsibilities- Raise requisitions and purchase orders on behalf of the GNFR departments ensuring that purchasing is carried out in accordance with the Company's purchasing policy and guidelines and EU legislation.
- Check validity of requests to purchase and resolve or refer non-compliant requests as appropriate. Investigate queries and discrepancies with requisitions, receipts, orders and invoices escalating as required.
- Issue and track software licenses against purchases ensuring that accurate records are kept.
- Check that deliveries have been made, raise GRNs, and process returns to vendors.
- Ensure that all orders are charged back at correct values and quantities, making any required amendments.
- Contribute to procurement projects under the direction of the Procurement Manager(s) and CPO.
- Use the Company's financial management, accounting and issue logging systems for procurement activities as appropriate.
- Provide advice and support to the Staff, understanding their requirements and guiding them to the most appropriate technology products and services in person, or using email or ServiceNow logging systems.
This is a hybrid-based opportunity with true flexibility to work from home, but you should be within commutable distance of any of our four offices - Aston (Birmingham), Crick (Northampton), Glasgow (Scotland), Salford (Manchester).

Skills and competencies- IT qualification at Level 3 (or something similar).
- Strong administration and organisation skills, with the ability to plan and work on own initiative.
- Good communication skills with particular focus on client responsiveness.
- Experience working with contracts or on contract renewals would be beneficial.
- The successful candidate will have an excellent attention to detail.
