We are currently seeking a Procurement Assistant for our client based in Dyce. This would be an ideal position for someone looking to build on a career in Procurement. Although some experience will be required, this position will offer training and development to enhance and progress your career.
Build and maintain good relationships with existing and new suppliers.Communicate with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams such as sales, marketing, accounts, and warehouseTrack and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectivenessEnsure all supplier price increases are updated on SAGE as well as customer specific pricingMonitor stock levels on a daily/weekly/monthly basisAmend and manage stock levelsFinalise purchase order details and deliveries.Progress and expediate outstanding ordersAssist sales team on special order items and ensure suggested suppliers list is updated regularly.In conjunction with sales team, ensure all bespoke artwork approvals are filedEnsure all supplier price lists and MOV are up to date and savedEnsure vendor qualifications are carried out on all new and existing suppliers for ISO audit purposes.Ensure all Iso requirements are met, NCR records are raised, maintained, and retained.Assist with stock take.Prepare and present procurement updates at fortnightly comms meeting.If this sounds like the role for you, please apply online today!
