They are looking for a Procurement Manager to join their site in Woking. As the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for managing 3rd party and intercompany suppliers of the company as well as ensuring that the suppliers meet the company's quality standards, deliver products on time, and at a competitive price.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage a team of buyers and other personnel managing and administering logistics and customs activities.
- Manage the suppliers for the company's Ltd, ensuring that they meet the company's quality standards and delivery requirements.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers, ensuring that the company gets a competitive price for its products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring that they understand the company's requirements and expectations.
- Monitor supplier performance and identify areas for improvement, working with suppliers to develop and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other departments within the company to ensure that suppliers meet the company's requirements for quality, delivery, and cost.
- Continuously seek out new suppliers and materials to ensure that the company has a diverse and reliable supply chain.
- Ensure that all sourcing activities comply with ESI ethical and legal standards.
As the ideal candidate, you will be educated to degree level in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
