Procurement Manager - Utilities

We are seeking a Procurement Manager with a focus on the utilities category who can drive cost-saving strategies while managing supplier relationships within the life science industry.

Description

• Provide Utilities category subject matter expertise and support to key stakeholders.
• Collaborating with the Global Category Managers in the development of Global Sourcing Strategies, as well as the development of Regional and Local Strategies where appropriate.
• Successful implementation of all Procurement strategies in the EMEA region and the corresponding projects.
• Develops and maintains strong network and communications with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Executes responsibilities with a large degree of autonomy, requiring minimal day-to-day oversight by immediate supervisor.
• Flexibility to support other categories within the EMEA and Global field.
• Identifying and implementing opportunities to deliver Sustainability Objectives, identifying and securing 3rd party/governmental funding and subsidies.

Profile

A successful Procurement Manager should have:

• Experience in procurement of utilities, and a familiarity with sustainability
• Knowledge of utilities management and related procurement strategies.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Proficiency in using procurement software and related tools.

Job Offer
