Description
- Provide Utilities category subject matter expertise and support to key stakeholders.
- Collaborating with the Global Category Managers in the development of Global Sourcing Strategies, as well as the development of Regional and Local Strategies where appropriate.
- Successful implementation of all Procurement strategies in the EMEA region and the corresponding projects.
- Develops and maintains strong network and communications with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Executes responsibilities with a large degree of autonomy, requiring minimal day-to-day oversight by immediate supervisor.
- Flexibility to support other categories within the EMEA and Global field.
- Identifying and implementing opportunities to deliver Sustainability Objectives, identifying and securing 3rd party/governmental funding and subsidies.
Profile
A successful Procurement Manager should have:
- Experience in procurement of utilities, and a familiarity with sustainability
- Knowledge of utilities management and related procurement strategies.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and related tools.
