SALARY: £15ph to £17ph
TERM: Temp to Perm
HOURS: 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
New vacancy just in! Would you like to join a successful family run business who have grown year on year, meaning a recent move to new larger purpose built modern offices in Ashford? You will be joining a small but friendly team who are passionate about what the company do, they are looking for a real team player who is happy to adapt to the demands of the role. The offices are based in Ashford with ample free parking, however they are also walking distance from Ashford International Train station.
The day-to-day duties in your new job would be:
- Purchasing stock
- Placing orders with approved suppliers
- Arranging shipping and logistics
- Working closely with the warehouse
- Running reports on stock levels/stock movement
- Some basic inventory work
- Attending Operational meetings
- Checking and receiving emails from the sales inbox
- Forwarding on all enquiries to the relevant member of staff
- Updating product information on the system, including putting them into the most relevant category
- Raising purchase orders
- Other administration as required

- A background in shipping, procurement or purchasing
