Procurement Senior Officer This is an exciting post and an opportunity to play an important role planning, delivering and evaluating procurement initiatives across South Essex College. We are looking to recruit a Procurement Senior Officer. Working within South Essex College, you will have a dynamic approach to developing and implementing efficient, and transparent procurement processes and ensuring compliance with internal and external financial regulations and legal requirements as well as assisting and training their correct implementation by other College departments. The Candidate will be a team player and work with various departments across the College, using excellent interpersonal skills as this role involves client interaction, whilst being able to work autonomously. It is an integral part of this post to have a good numerical, analytical and negotiation skills with experience in related IT systems, and tender processes, as well as first line management experience. Candidates will co-ordinate the procurement department's workload, developing and maintaining appropriate, high quality administration systems for clients ensuring value added service and analyse cross College expenditure and preferred suppliers for efficiencies and savings to be achieved.
