My client is a reputable International independent F&B operator who have partnered with a premium 5
* hotel group.
They are soon to embark on an exciting rollout in London and are looking for talented individuals to join their team. 

They are seeking a standalone Procurement Specialist to join their team.
The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for the whole UK procurement function, managing all food & non-food categories, implementing a successful procurement strategy, managing supplier relationships and being cost effective for the business.

This role will initially be managing one site; however it will organically develop into a multi-site procurement role once new sites are rolled out and they are looking for a candidate with managerial ambition who they can build a procurement team around.

This is well suited for experienced Purchasing Managers who have exceptional category knowledge and are ambitious for promotion within a fast paced and growing business.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies.
• Lead negotiations to achieve best price for the business.
• Lead the end-to-end procurement process, from identifying needs and selecting suppliers to negotiating contracts and managing vendor performance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and align procurement activities with organisational goals.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, increase efficiency, and reduce costs while maintaining quality standards.
• Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for innovation, risk mitigation, and cost optimisation.

The Ideal Procurement Specialist Candidate:

• Must have a minimum of 5 years purchasing experience working for a restaurant or food retail business.
• Should be happy to work in a stand-alone position.
• Have direct and indirect procurement experience with excellent multi category knowledge.
• Should have experience sourcing Halal products, Arabic spices is a bonus.
• Have a hands-on approach with strong negotiation and admin skills.
• Good communication and organisation skills.
