Role Overview
As the Product Management Director at Benefex, you will have the exciting challenge of growing our largest product on a global scale, optimizing processes to increase efficiency, and driving the development of a world-class PM organization. Your leadership will be pivotal in mentoring the team, sharing your deep expertise, and setting up modern processes. This role is about making an impact where it matters most - not only on the product but also on the people and the culture of our team.
This role reports directly to our Chief Product Officer (ex-Google & AutoScout), providing you with an outstanding growth opportunity for you as part of his leadership team.
Responsibilities
- Lead the global growth of our largest product, aiming for innovation and market leadership.
- Actively work to reduce manual operations, implementing automated and streamlined processes for scalability.
- Architect a top-tier PM organization, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Shape and nurture our team culture, mentoring staff, sharing your expertise, and driving the adoption of modern product management practices.
- Take on full product responsibility for Benefits, a critical product that drives 90% of Benefex's revenue.
- Lead a robust team of 3 Senior Product Managers, oversee the hiring of an additional team member, and strategically plan for further organizational growth.
What are we looking for?
- Experience working in world-class product organisations, either companies that have reached scale (Google, Microsoft, Uber, Deliveroo, JustEAT) or high growth startups
- Extensive experience in global product management, ideally within the B2B SaaS sector.
- Demonstrated ability in building and leading high-caliber PM organizations.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a focus on mentoring, culture shaping, and process innovation.
- A track record of reducing manual workloads through automation and process refinement.
- Strategic business sense to manage a significant revenue-driving product line.
- Experience in expanding product teams, including hiring and managing senior product managers.
