Product Maintenance Manager (M365)

Job Description

The Scottish Qualifications Authority is Scotland’s national awarding and accreditation body.  We are trusted to oversee thousands of qualifications that are available in schools, colleges and workplaces, not just in this country, but around the world.

We are looking for a Product Maintenance Manager (M365) to work within the Service Delivery team.

The successful candidate will be required to administer, configure and support SQA’s Microsoft 365 tenant in order to ensure the continuation and support of the environment. In order to do this you must be able to demonstrate experience in the following specific duties:

• Maintain the stability of IT applications, including Microsoft Exchange Online and Microsoft 365 cloud environments to uphold system continuity in accordance with SQA SLAs.
• Resolve complex issues related to Microsoft 365 applications, Microsoft Exchange Online, and other M365 cloud services as required.
• Propose and define improvements to delivery and support in respect of all Microsoft 365 cloud services.

Additionally, you must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

• Knowledge of IT Service Management Processes (ITIL).
• Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft 365 cloud services and PowerShell scripting.
• Experience of initiating and leading projects with multiple dependencies.

Applicants, as a minimum, should be educated to SCQF Level 8 in an IT discipline and/or be able to demonstrate direct relevant experience for this role.
