As the Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving the success of portfolio products through strategic planning and execution. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and Group Portfolio to bring innovative and high-quality products to market. This company supplies thousands of environment improvement products to professional and retail markets, in the UK, Europe and North America.
Up to £32K negotiable + great benefits and prospects.
Product Manager Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement product strategy and roadmap in line with company goals and objectives.
– Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs and market trends.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product features and specifications for new or existing products.
– Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch, including pricing, positioning, and promotion.
– Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, distributors, and partners.
– Monitor product performance and use data to make informed decisions for product enhancements.
– Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective product messaging and sales collateral.
– Train and educate the sales team on new products and updates.
– Attend industry events and conferences to stay updated on market trends and competitor activities.
– Oversee the product budget and ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
Product Manager Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
– Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role for at least 2 years.
– In-depth understanding of product development and management processes.
– Strong project management and organizational skills.
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
– Demonstrated track record of successfully launching and managing products.
– Knowledge of the Pest Control industry is a plus.
– Confident understanding of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential.
– Experience with SAP and Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a plus.
