Product Manager - Mortgage Product.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual who wants to develop their career in Mortgages. As part of our Mortgages Product team you’ll play a key role in managing our existing mortgage propositions – becoming an expert on mortgage products & policy, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring good outcomes for our members.

You’ll ensure that our products, propositions and processes are operating to the required standard, as well as help identify and resolve complex and high-profile issues relating to the management of Nationwide mortgages as they arise.

You’ll also help us push forward the product oversight and governance strategy for mortgages.

What you’ll be doing

• You’ll be working on a variety of mortgage projects, in a fast-paced environment, helping to co-ordinate activity amongst stakeholders. You’ll need to be flexible in your approach depending on the demands of the project.
• You’ll lead in-depth reviews of our mortgage products, policies & propositions, identifying issues or areas of improvement as they arise, and supporting in issue resolution.
• You’ll monitor member outcomes, including through data, MI & deep dives 
• You’ll be supporting policy review and change where the need arises, helping improve customer experience. 

About you

• Be able to demonstrate knowledge of the UK mortgage market
• Enjoy working collaboratively with others and building meaningful relationships, and are able to use these to influence and drive change in a challenging environment
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
• Be confident, proactive and motivated, with strong organisational skills and detail oriented
• Be comfortable managing your own workload, which will include important, time-bound initiatives
• Be inquisitive, love a challenge and problem solving to find the best outcome which balances both member and business needs.
