Marketing. is the process of getting people interested in your company's product or service.
In its simplest form that s what it s all about. But as you know it runs a little deeper than that. You know how important those relationships are with Sally in Sales, Mark your fellow Marketeer, and don t forget Peter in Product Management, and let s not even get started with the third-party suppliers and dealer network insert brain exploding emoji .
In this role you ll focus on a broad range of operational marketing activities including market analysis, product benchmarking, campaign strategy creation and deployment and lead management. You ll get under the skin to conduct the market research and professional data analysis to provide insight to develop and drive the marketing strategy. You know how to monitor market size and trends, as well as evaluating sales performance versus competition to identify those all-important wins. With all this data you ll then want to feed that into national commercial campaigns and initiatives in line with the marketing strategy to help drive the market growth and customer confidence in the products. The business has been a front runner when it comes to sustainably powered EV s and Natural Gas options and is across all commercial vehicle ranges from light commercial vehicles to heavy duty truck and buses. They have pioneered natural gas technology with numerous industry firsts but know there is still so much more to accomplish and drive toward carbon neutrality.
What background do you have?
You ve been within Product Marketing for a little while now, you know all about market analysis and strategy setting to deliver positive results. If you ve had automotive experience great, but it s not essential; if you ve had LCV and Truck experience - even better; and if you ve had EV and hydrogen exposure then I ll send the contract straight to you not strictly true - but you get the point. A degree or equivalent in Marketing / Business Management is again a nice to have, but absolute essentials are impeccable communication skills and IT competencies (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc).
