Job Title: Production Administration Assistant
Reports to: Office Manager
Supports: Production Manager – Machining Facility
Location: Altaras International, Worcester
Altaras International is an engineering company who offers precision tooling solutions for the investment casting industry and are experts in airfoils for aerospace and industrial gas turbine applications.
Job Purpose:
To aid all aspects of the Administration functions, ensuring they are carried out with accuracy and efficiency in supporting the machining facility of the business.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Administrative Duties
- Ensure visitors are greeted appropriately and promptly.
- Take care of general administration tasks within the office. i.e inputting, filing, scanning etc.
- Provide additional assistance to tooling administrators as/when required i.e Annual Leave Cover.
Production Administration
- Produce varied paperwork using the database and excel forms.
- Inspect shipments on arrival and cross-relate to the delivery documents.
- Process sales acknowledgements from customer purchase orders.
Other Duties
- To be fully familiar with the ERP systems, experience of 123 Insight an advantage but not required
- To undertake such work as you are assigned in a careful and efficient way. Key eye to detail.
- To communicate in a friendly, helpful, and non-prejudicial manner in your dealings with staff, clients and/or customers by representative of your department as well as the Company.
Essential:
Data Entry Skills, Attention to Detail, Confidentiality, Reporting Skills, Numerate.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
Desirable:
Working knowledge of 123 Insight (or another Sales / Purchase processing system) would be advantageous.
Previous experience in an office environment would be ideal.
Personal Qualities:
Flexible, highly motivated, effective team player; methodical, ability to understand and meet targets and deadlines, able to learn and assimilate new information.
Working Hours (22.5hrs) – Part Time:
Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 9:30 till 14:30, with 30-minute Lunch break.
Hours can be flexible depending on the right candidate.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £13,700.00 per year
Expected hours: 22.5 per week
