The Production Administrator will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes. You will be responsible for providing administrative support to the production team, coordinating schedules, managing documentation, and facilitating communication between various departments. Your organisational skills and attention to detail will be instrumental in maintaining efficiency and effectiveness within the production environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of production schedules, ensuring deadlines are met and resources are allocated efficiently
- Manage documentation related to production processes, purchase orders, and inventory records
- Handle correspondence and inquiries related to production activities, providing timely and accurate responses
- Act as a liaison between production staff and other departments to facilitate smooth workflow and resolve any issues that may arise
- Communicate production updates, schedule changes, and other relevant information to the appropriate teams and individuals
- Monitor production processes to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and quality and make recommendations to the Production Manager
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of production activities, including production output, inventory levels, and resource utilisation
- Manage finished goods valuation on Sage
- Maintaining BOM’s and raw material prices on Sage
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Use of Microsoft software (Excel/Word/Outlook)
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively
- Experience in SAGE
