Production Manager

At PAM Building UK we are looking for a Production Managerto work at our Telford site, ensuring productivity and quality targets are achieved or surpassed whilst encouraging a sense of pride in our team.

This Production Managerwill manage 5 direct reports as well as lead a team 65 colleagues who don't just manufacture products but work on all elements of site improvements from health and wellbeing projects to downtime reduction initiatives and cost savings. PAM Building UK is part of Saint-Gobain, a global organisation which specialises in the supply and manufacture of a vast range of sustainable products for the building sector across the world. PAM at Telford offers above and below ground drainage solutions for multi-storey buildings and rainwater products for traditional buildings. We are the UK's leading supplier of cast iron products for building works and we're proud of the high performance and quality of our products which meet the future needs of the building drainage sector.

This role is based fully on-site working 8am -4.30pm Monday - Thursday, 8am-1.30pm Friday. We can be flexible on start and finish times.

What we're looking for:

• You will have strong leadership skills and be a confident communicator both written and verbally.
• Production management experience, an engineering environment would be fab but we would consider applicants from any industry
• You'll be approachable and passionate about building relationships with a wide network of people/departments/levels
• You will have a continuous improvement mindset and will innovate and drive improvements, continually seeking to Be Our Best.

What you will be doing:

• Maintaining and evolving our EHS culture, building upon our 4 Star ISA rating. Showing We Care.
• Ensuring all processes and procedures and followed, carrying out appropriate audits.
• Daily monitoring of performance through KPIs and other trackers. Taking appropriate action to ensure plans and KPI's are achieved or surpassed. Making It Happen.
• Understand customer needs and operational capability, managing expectations accordingly.
• Resource planning
