About the role:
This role will be responsible for ensuring IFS, seasoning, raptor, cook room CPC (lead picking, headsetting), and microwave is delivered in line with company standards. The role also will contribute to Operations to help achieve health & safety, food safety, quality, service, and cost goals.
This role is 38.08 hours per week.
Main Duties:
· Produce product in adherence to set requirements
· Operate fryers, finished goods equipment, collator, dishwashers, microwave, raptor. Headsetting equipment and all areas of seasoning and CCI, and ensure continuous running across all machines within responsibility
- Ensures that COSHH procedures are followed at all times
- Understand individuals’ impact on company’s KPI performance
- Able to identify machine deterioration and improvement opportunities
· Maintain and promote clean-as-you-go policy at all times and carry out effective high- standard cleans and changeovers
· Report any defects to management and engineers, following company policy
- Ensure the safety of yourself and others by reporting all accidents and near misses, with immediate action to prevent recurrence
- Follow all quality and food safety procedures every time by understanding the food safety risks and the controls in place to minimise these risks
- Comply with allergen control measures
- Meet company’s waste targets

Experience and Qualifications:
Essential
- Previous relevant experience within a food manufacturing environment
- Experience of packaging machines
- Basic computer knowledge
