About the role
You’ll be join our team based in our Eastbourne Manufacturing centre, where you will be responsible for the manufacturing, assembly, test and packing of Paxton products.
- Transferring stock between departments using manual handling equipment or a forklift truck (when licensed)
- Picking and packing orders for despatch
- Replenishment of Kanban’s for flowlines
- Cycle counting stock and assisting with stock checks as necessary
- Packing products to work order and Factory Instructions
- Carrying out electronics encapsulation of products (potting) in a controlled manner following the flow rate and time settings in the factory instructions
- Driving Continuous Improvement initiatives
We are looking for an operative to join us on our Late Shift which runs Monday & Tuesday 14:15 - 00:30, and Wednesday & Thursday, 14:15 – 00:15. This will also include a 10% shift allowance.
What are we looking for?
- Be able to adapt in a fast paced environment with attention to detail.
- Any previous experience in warehouse or manufacturing is beneficial
- Basic IT literacy skills
