Principal Responsibilities
- Employee must demonstrate they can operate, one or more of the following:
- Filler
- SBO / Krupp
- D8 and D9 Modular Labeller
- Train, develop and support level 1 & 2 Operators to operate SBO, Combi, Krupp, Filler, Premix and Pasteurisers
- Maintain personal and plant hygiene by applying manual cleaning procedures to the required standards whilst undertaking designated task
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards
- Communicate and co-operate with colleagues in order to achieve goals and maintain product quality.
- Proactively recognise and resolve faults within the appropriate timescales and where applicable, ensure the appropriate person has been notified
- Accurately complete all reporting and recording procedures applicable to designated tasks.
- Monitor and maintain product quality standards.
- Perform any other duties required by Manufacturing Team Leader
General Responsibilities
- Understand and take an active role in lean manufacturing work practices including 5S, AM and problem solving (including root cause analysis), to drive continuous improvement activity throughout the site
- You must exercise reasonable skill and care for the health and safety of yourself and other people at work and you must not interfere with or obstruct anything provided in the interests of health and safety at work.
- The incumbent should demonstrate behaviours which are in line with the site values & help to improve the Quality, Safety & Environmental culture.
- Support the business in working towards delivering our ethical trading and human rights vision.
- When engaging with internal and external stakeholders (such as consumers, customers or suppliers) maximise any potential opportunities to communicate Princes’ ethical trade and human rights approach.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- In depth knowledge of operation SBO, Combi, Krupp, Filler, Premix and Pasteurisers and D8/D9 Labeller
- Ability to operate and train others to use Labeller, Case Packer, Palletiser, Wrapper
- Understanding of factory safety and hygiene procedures
- Understanding of continuous improvement work practices and where required, conduct 5s audits and deliver Kaizen’s
- Participation in HSE audits and play an active role in H&S initiatives
- Possess the ability to work productively, efficiently & effectively with initiative
- To work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality.
