- Contribute to a positive Health and Safety culture and behavior.
- Timely quality checks of the product, conduct foreign body hunts of the area and highlight GMP issues.
- Operating pouch making machinery, line set-up and set up of box taping machine, including size changeovers.
- Ensure finished products are correctly packed to target in line with company and customer expectations.
- Contribute to Triple Zero initiatives – Zero Accidents, Zero Delays and Zero Defects.
- Good appreciation of high standards of hygiene including Allergen cleaning.
- Give support and direction to the machine operator support team.
- 2+ years’ experience in a FMCG environment including food manufacturing methods, understanding of standard operating procedures (SOP`s), one point lessons (OPL) and hygiene standards. (Essential)
- Experience of continuous improvement and problem solving (Knowledge)
- Experience in a culture that promotes a high standard of Health and Safety (Essential)
- Experience in a culture that promotes a high standard of quality and food safety (Essential)
- Good communication skills, written and verbal (Essential)
- Good numeracy skills and the ability to capture data in “real time” (Essential)
- Experience with scanning system technology (Desirable)
- Passionate and motivated
- Fast learner who wants to learn and grow with the business
- Disciplined and leads by example
- Can work cross functionally between production and process
