Location: Leeds, United Kingdom Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum

Job Description: As a Production Planner, you will play a vital role in coordinating production schedules, managing inventory levels, and optimising resource utilisation to meet production targets. We're looking for a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand while maximising efficiency and minimising costs.
2. Collaborate with sales, procurement, and manufacturing teams to forecast demand and plan production accordingly.
3. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure adequate supply of raw materials and components.
4. Analyse production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
5. Coordinate with maintenance and quality assurance teams to ensure equipment reliability and product quality standards are met.
6. Provide regular updates on production progress, inventory status, and any potential issues to management.
7. Continuously evaluate production processes and recommend strategies to optimise resource utilisation and improve productivity.
8. Adhere to health and safety guidelines and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements at all times.
9. Support cross-functional teams and participate in meetings to address production-related challenges and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
10. Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in production planning and manufacturing.
