Description
Key responsibilities
- ?? Creating production schedules for each area of responsibility.
- ?? Establishes and shares best practices for operations planning, inventory management, and resource management.
- ?? Works with customer service to provide appropriate delivery dates.
- ? Calculate production lead times.
- ?? Works closely with Production Planners and shift leaders to optimise production efficiency through SMART planning.
- ?? Attends daily production meetings for their area of responsibility.
- ??? Places POs (Purchase Orders) for parts when required.
- ?? Analyses back orders, current orders, and upcoming orders to prioritise, plan, and schedule the production operations.
- ?? Monitors raw material and outsourced component stocks.
Profile
�? Ideal Candidate:
- �? Minimum 2-year experience in manufacturing planning.
- ?? Proficient IT skills for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
- ?? Excellent knowledge of Excel.
- ?? Experience with ERP systems, with SAP knowledge being a significant plus. �?
- ?? Strong communication skills to work effectively across teams.
- ?? Detail-oriented with a knack for problem-solving.
- ?? Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- ?? Proven track record of improving production efficiency.
- �? Openness to diversity and ability to work in a global team environment.
- ?? Fluent in English, with additional languages appreciated.
- ?? Lean Manufacturing experience isn't required but would be a definite advantage. ?
