WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for an individual who possesses a good understanding of QAD and demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Access. The ideal candidate should be adept at compiling databases, creating pivot tables, and generating charts.
Additionally, effective communication and planning skills are essential for this role, along with practical problem-solving abilities. The ability to adapt plans in response to evolving business requirements is also crucial.
Please note: Due to operational needs, this is an on-site role 5 days a week at our Foleshill Road site.

JOB DUTIES
- Create and maintain Production Plans across all product lines to ensure efficient delivery to customer demands.
- Ensure the labour requirements are monitored and kept up to date to ensure cost-effective production.
- Monitor workflow bookings and ensure they are completed correctly.
- Ensure materials are available to meet the demands of the production plan by working closely with procurement.
- Support the production team to deliver the plan as required.
- Support and report progress in business reviews, including planning meetings, project reviews, and daily shop floor meetings.
- Instigate and implement continuous improvement activities, including effective use of QAD.
- All other duties as assigned.

CRITICAL OUTPUTS AND ACHIEVEMENT REQUIRED
- Effective material planning process implemented and supporting production plans for customer demands.
- Streamlined and controlled production and labour plans.
EXPERIENCE
- Experience of working within a fast-paced production environment.
- Experience in use of QAD or similar MRP system.
- Math's and English qualification (e.g. GCSE level C or above)
