Production Shift Manager

This role will see you work a mix of 12hr days and nights to coach and develop a team of approximately 20 people. You will oversee a production line to ensure the production process is operating at its full capabilities.

Description

The Production Shift Manager will work a mix of 12hr days and nights to coach and develop a team of approx. 20 heads:

• Coach, mentor, develop and manage a team of direct operational reports.
• Track and take responsibility for the day-to-day operational departmental performance including full compliance of policies procedures and legality.
• Ensure all Operational responsibilities are adhered to and that the planned production schedule is achieved in full
• Accurately capture and record operational performance results on an hour to hour/day to day basis and drive continuous improvement processes to drive efficiencies
• Ensure that non-conformities are actioned on a prompt basis, driving back to root cause
• Ensure quality and health & safety standards are adhered to at all times
• Provide regular training to the team and wider business

Profile

The successful Production Shift Manager will work a 12hr days and nights and will have:

• FMCG/food manufacturing background
• Continuous improvement knowledge
• Strong management experience - specifically experience coaching and developing staff to be more efficient and optimise processes
• Proactive approach
