Teamwork Partnership is currently recruiting on behalf of their client for a Production Systems Manager in Chatteris. This is a new role to the business, due to our growing customer base. This is an onsite, full-time role, working 5 out of 7 days, which includes weekend work, although Mon-Fri may be considered.
The Production Systems Manager will be responsible for all administrative aspects of the production process.
This includes:
Working with the production/ operations/ commercial and administrative teams and reporting to the Production Shift Managers.
optimising as part of the production team the production planning and efficiency.
Using all Microsoft packages, especially outlook and Excel.
Responsibility for the production paperwork, planning, produce stocks and customer orders.
Concise and understandable departmental communication, both verbally one on one or to a team, on video calls, and also written via emails or notes is very important.
Although this is a production office-based job (which is in the production facility) there will be times when you go into the factory itself to communicate accordingly and help out during extreme peaks the sane as any position does.
This is not a 9-5 role. The start time can be between hrs, but the finish time would be when production finishes, which is mostly between hrs, but on occasions it is later at peak times.
The salary awarded to this role is GBP26-GBP30k per annum which will depend on experience.
