Production Team Lead - 18 Month Contract

About the role
Due to expansion, we have a FTC opportunity for Production Team Lead to jin our Pre Installed Configuration (PIC) team to setup and assist in the configuration, assembly & packing of our water dispenser products, taking into consideration the Health and Safety of both the dispenser Production Team and surrounding environment, while ensuring the production assembly line is stocked and operated correctly in order to configure high quality dispenser products that adhere to the product specification through regular process control checks.
The day to day responsibilities will be

• To pre-configure all dispenser products to meet customer/end user specification requirements in accordance with product compliance standards
• Carry out Health and Safety audits and report back any defects to the appropriately
• Monitor work standards & practices that are undertaken and ensure completion with end-of-line testing by assessing to identify problems
• Undertake equipment inspection, maintenance and cleaning in accordance to ensure continuous production is maintained
• Carry out planned tasks in accordance with contract requirements and associated systems, to ensure accurate process data/records/documentation is maintained
• Ensure all minor issues that may arise with the production line are fixed and trouble-shoot when production issues occur - notifying the Line Manager when this cannot be resolved by you, and report any failures or problematic issues that may impact on the organisation and/or its clients/customers to the Line Manager
• Carry out any ad-hoc duties as requested by the Line Manager
• Operate equipment safely and in accordance with all instruction and guidelines, including Health and Safety, wearing Personal Protective Equipment supplied as instructed

To be successful in this role...

• You’ll have at least 2 Years technical experience gained in a field engineering and/or serial production assembly line environment, preferably within the Vending, Manufacturing or White Goods industry
• Proven Team Leader experience within a production environment
• Be IT literate with experience in either SAP or a Service Management Tool
• Have the ability to work autonomously, working in accordance to set parameters
• Fork Lift licence (ideal but not essential)
• Excellent communication skills
