What you’ll be doing…

• Team Leadership & Motivation: Lead and manage a dynamic team of up to 10 individuals in our Dispatch Department, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining motivation in a fast-paced environment.
• Health & Safety Management: Drive a culture of safety by actively engaging in health and safety initiatives, conducting daily huddles, and maintaining detailed records of safety-related activities and incidents.
• Quality Control & Production Planning: Oversee quality control processes, implementing KPIs to measure product quality and conducting regular updates and discussions with the Quality Control/Quality Assurance teams.
• Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement: Develop and execute production plans, ensuring high service standards through consistent communication with stakeholders and active data collection for informed decision-making.
• Team Development & Engagement: Drive continuous improvement by setting clear team goals, implementing SOPs and KPIs for operational excellence, and actively engaging in recruitment and developmental opportunities to enhance team performance.

Skills & experience

• People management experience in a values-led organisation would be ideal.
• Proven experience of working within an Operations/Warehouse/Production environment is preferable.
• A good level of Health & Safety understanding in a production environment would be beneficial.
• A good standard of English literacy - written and verbal and numeracy skills are required.
• Good time management and organisation skills.
