Professional Standards Unit (Psu) Senior Investigator

The NCA'S Professional Standards Unit works to ensure effective working relationships, between officers, our partners and the public by maintaining confidence in the agency. We have legal and statutory obligations around how we manage complaints and potential conduct matters.

As a Grade 4 Senior Investigator you will be required to deal with a range of sensitive issues in a highly confidential environment. You will be required to conduct investigations into allegations of Gross Misconduct, Misconduct, Public Complaints, occurrences of Death or Serious Injury and some criminal offences (suspected to be committed by NCA officers).

You will provide advice and guidance to the team and support non PSU staff who are responsible for investigating issues on behalf of the unit. You will also be required to promote Professional Standards across the organisation, delivering presentations and supporting the Agencies training programme’s when required.
