  • About the team -
  • The vision of Fraud and Abuse Prevention team is to prevent bad actors from engaging in fraud or abuse in Amazon s WW stores so that every selling partner the small to the large, local or multi-national can thrive and grow. We want to reach a point where we proactively prevent selling partner risks while we record all (failed) bad actor attempts to engage in fraud or abuse. The mission of our group is to enable the long-term success of our selling partners by providing a fraud or abuse-free selling and shopping experience by stopping bad actors from interacting with Amazon s WW stores and customers. We are entrusted with preventing Fraud and Abuse, and to deliver at scale through technology, science, and expert human judgment. We do all of this while creating a team culture that we are proud of one that builds fulfilling careers, is inclusive, and is fun to be a part of.
We re looking for leaders who are passionate about
  • Identifying, driving and tracking initiatives that improve the investigation experience
  • Learning existing operational workflows and optimize them using tools and softwares
  • Building automated solutions to reduce operating expenses
  • Conducting analysis to isolate issues, developing solutions based on changing business priorities
  • Interacting with stakeholder teams to define and deliver solutions and establish standard processes
  • Working with science and engineering team to build the solution to mitigate to tackle ongoing issues
A day in the life
  • Dive deep on existing abuse detection processes and tools, and recommend improvements
  • Experiment with new solutions to automate process and manual investigation process
  • Interact with stakeholders across levels and geographies to gather input and feedback on new and recurring problems
  • Establish and monitor goals and metrics to identify and measure opportunities and success
  • Drive parity and convergence between already in-flight programs/processes and ideal state new programs/processes
About the team

Amazon has built a reputation for excellence with recent examples of being named the most trusted company for customers. To deliver on this reputation for trust the Marketplace Abuse team is tasked with identifying and preventing abuse for our customers and brand owners worldwide.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
  • Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field
  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
  • Experience managing accounting/finance process improvement and/or technology projects with aggressive schedules
