Title: Programme Development officer (Research in Practice - NWAG) 
Reference:

Location: Hybrid working from Devon or Sheffield (Home based within UK for the right candidate). NCB promotes a hybrid, flexible way of working, staff can work remotely for part of the week if they wish and, in the office, or face to face for at least 2 days per week. 
Contract: Fixed term until March 2025.  
Hours: Part time, 28 hours per week. 
Salary: £26,555 with generous benefits package including 30 days annual leave (pro-rata) plus Bank holidays and 3 days of Christmas closure.

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the team delivering on a multi-strand influential project (The National Workload Action Group – NWAG) commissioned by the Department of Education (DfE). 

The role will work with the team of partners to scope and develop resources to support child and family social worker recruitment, retention, workforce development and wellbeing, and to provide recommendations to the DfE about reducing social worker workload.

The Project Development Officer will play a key role in engaging a large stakeholder network in design and quality assurance of project outputs. The work will help enhance safe and effective practice and promote the value and diversity of the social work role. 

Closing date: 8am, Monday 8th April 2024  
Assessment and interviews to be conducted on Friday 19 April 2024.
