About Us
The primary aim of this role is to take a lead in advancing our charitable mission of helping refugees and people seeking asylum (throughout the UK) access the benefits of cycling and bike ownership. Last year, the charity donated bikes to over 2000 refugees and people seeking asylum.
About the Role
As Programme Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing our bike sourcing initiative, ensuring a continuous flow of bikes into the organisation. You will also operate as the designated contact for all our Referral Partners (partner organisations that refer people to receive a bike from us), managing referral quotas, waiting times, and scheduling collections.
The Bike Project has recently gone through a period of organisational change. Working alongside the Head of Process & Delivery, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of new and innovative operational initiatives within your area of work. Adaptability and pragmatism are imperative in navigating the day-to-day challenges of delivering this programme.
Success will be assessed against a series of KPIs – some of which are currently in place, others will be shaped and developed as you progress in the role.
The Bike Project offers a flexible approach to the working week, and this role is hybrid at 37.5 hrs p/w Monday-Friday, with an expectation of at least 2-3 days per week at our Brixton office and Deptford workshop.
