Do you want to enable the delivery of a new campaigning initiative looking to creatively communicate about social issues with the public, politicians and policy makers? Do you want to use your career to make a difference, and reduce inequality?
About us:
Health Equals is a campaigning initiative developed as part of the Health Foundation’s aim to improve health and reduce inequalities. We are looking for a Programme Manager to work with our team to ensure that Health Equals’ programme of work is managed effectively. This role provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high profile, impactful campaigns that raise the public’s awareness of health inequalities and push for changes to public policy to improve the factors that shape health.
About you:
We think this role is for you if you are an experienced, organised and proactive Programme Manager. You will be working with a team and a set of external agencies to deliver a programme of campaigns and policy influencing work. You’ll need to be able to maintain an overview of multiple projects and ensure that they are effectively aligned, accommodating shifting deadlines and changes of direction as required. Experienced in managing budgets and programme plans, you will be confident in supporting a team to manage resources and capacity and able to ensure the team is working in line with the necessary operating procedures.
You will be as interested in tracking, evaluating and improving the impact of the team’s work as you are in strengthening our processes for delivery. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work flexibly in a dynamic, fast paced environment are essential.
