Job Description The Dickson Poon School of Law is seeking to recruit a Programmes Manager for our Undergraduate taught programmes. The post holder will work as part of a team to ensure consistent management and delivery of undergraduate taught programmes through providing high quality administrative support. Specifically, the post holder will be responsible for the administration and continued development of all Undergraduate programmes within the School. The role holder will work in close partnership with Programme Directors, module leads, Assessment Sub-Board Chairs and Professional Services colleagues across the university. They will be responsible for: Ensuring timely and effective provision of taught programmes in accordance with university and Faculty priorities, timelines and policies. Ensuring consistency of process, quality and efficacy of service, that the team provide a high level of customer support to relevant stakeholders. Providing leadership and line management to Programme Officer and Senior Programme Officer roles, allocating staff resource to ensure consistent and effective service delivery, and developing and delivering training to all levels to enable and embed service resilience and succession planning. Representing the Faculty in wider university activities and committees, in support of the Faculty's interests and engaging with university functions. Ensuring that staff are aware of their purpose and engaging with a shared vision for the university and the Faculty. This post will be offered on a fixed term contract for 12 months as maternity leave cover, from March 2024. This is a full-time post - 100% full time equivalent.
