You will work with colleagues at all levels, including senior academics, both within the University of Sheffield and externally, to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the DiMeN DTP. This will include organizing training events, administering recruitment processes, maintaining regular communications and sharing information with our partners. You will be a competent user of the Microsoft Office suite and Google packages and experience of using University’s IT systems, including PG online and SAP, would be desirable. You will possess excellent organisational skills, a positive attitude; have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to work flexibly to meet conflicting demands of the DTP. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an administrator to support the day to day running of the Discovery Medicine North Doctoral Training Partnership (DiMeN DTP) - a network of PhD students based across five universities in the North of England. This varied role will work alongside the DiMeN manager to support all aspects of the partnership to ensure the smooth day to day operation of the DiMen DTP. This includes supporting student recruitment processes, responding to student enquiries, keeping systems and records up to date and maintaining regular communications across the network. You will possess excellent organisational skills, a positive attitude; have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You will be a competent user of Microsoft Office suite and Google packages, with experience of maintaining databases, and be comfortable working with budgets and finances. Experience of using the JeS and SAP would be desirable.
