Project Administrator
Location: North West England, Cheshire, Chester
Job Type: Contract, 6-9 months initially
Pay rate: GBP17.98 per hour
Urenco; trusted, long-term supplier to the nuclear industry, specialising in safe, cost effective and reliable uranium enrichment services, are looking for a Project Administrator on a contract basis (inside IR35), to be based in Capenhurst near Chester. In this contract position, you will provide administrative support to projects within the Group Projects Department. The Learning and Development Project Administrator plays a crucial role in supporting the training and development activities within the engineering industry focusing on distinct packages of work.
What will your day look like?
• Coordinating training programmes and workshops
• Maintaining training records and databases
• Scheduling training sessions and tracking attendance
• Assisting with the design and delivery of learning materials
• Handling administrative tasks related to learning and development initiatives
• Arrange meetings, site visits and training events and other events as necessary
• Restructuring record keeping and standardising naming convention
What do you need to be great at this role?
• Professional and competent level of all Microsoft Packages (especially Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio, Project and expert Power Point skills)
• Proven experience in an administrative role
• Excellent organizational and planning skills with the ability to respond to changing priorities , supporting a busy workload and multiple live projects
• Development and maintenance of a project library, filing, recording and reporting systems
• Development and implementation of appropriate configuration management procedures
• Strong attention for detail including document management, formatting and control
• Thorough knowledge of organization and project requirements
Required Qualifications:
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Knowledge and Skills:
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Understanding of training principles and practises
• Ability to multitask and prioritise workload
Preferred Qualifications:
• Professional certification in training and development
• Use of Success Factors or other learning management systems
• Prior experience in learning and development or HR administration is advantageous.
